Hey, I'm
Genevieve Tree
I'm a 2D Artist & Animation all-rounder in Brisbane, Queensland

A 2020 Graduate of Griffith Film School's Bachelor of Animation, stepping straight into the hit ABC kids, BBC and Disney show Bluey as the Layout Artist, I now work primarily in animation series production at Australian studios such as Hooligan Animation (The Freak Brothers), Princess Bento (Universal Basic Guys), Ludo Studio (Bluey), Fade In Studio (Zip & The Tiny Sprouts) and many more
.
I've found my technical love for 2D Rigging in Toon Boom Harmony and have recently wrapped as Rigging Lead on The Freak Brothers Season 3, including designing and overseeing the rigging pipeline for the studio during my time. I also love to stretch my artistic muscles doing Background and Layout roles across adult comedies, childrens programs and illustrating books.
Amongst that, I have a varied creative career working in commercial and personalised projects directly for agencies or independant clients, both in animated or digital formats, including a gallery exhibition at HOTA and Griffith Climate Action content about Heat Health rolled out through medical facilities in South East Queensland. Plus with some years of teaching acrylic on canvas I also have a deep appreciation for traditional mediums, and have been previously commissioned to paint weddings live on canvas or doing caricatures in ink for events.
With my versatile skill set that branches across the entire animation pipeline and beyond, have a squiz at my diverse portfolio, previous work and socials.
